The project, which cost close to $3.9 million, included the construction of a new 710-square-metre gymnasium attached to the left side of the Good Shepherd School, as well as the redevelopment of a two-story administrative area within the school to create an access corridor to the gymnasium.
The electrical work for this project consisted, among other things, of:
- The addition of a new 400A electrical entrance and the relocation of existing underground entrances;
- Modification of the overhead supply network;
- Installation of all electrical service and distribution equipment, interior and exterior lighting system, interior and exterior electrical outlet system, telecommunication network, heating system, access control system, electrified door hardware and heating cable system for gutters, floor and entrance of the gymnasium ;
- Modification of fire and intrusion alarm systems;
- The connection of mechanical equipment;
- Installation of a grounding system.
